Sina Choopani

Sina Choopani (b. 1990, Sari, Iran) studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran (Tehran, Iran).

Sina Choopani is an experimental artist. In his work, he mainly experiments with destruction and combination of different materials, disparate readymade objects and overused images. His radical experimentational approach defies the boundaries of well-known artistic media, resulting in a constant testing and reassessment of the subject matter in his work. Focusing on screen printing, he makes use of novel technologies in his artistic productions. Themes of body, death and language are always present in his work.
